About the Decibels Foundation
The Decibels Foundation is an award winning 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping children with hearing loss and their families.

Part-time position is responsible for all office administration, regulatory obligations, and donor communication for a small non-profit. Ideal candidate would be an experienced, self-motivated individual comfortable in a small office setting seeking a challenging, family friendly work environment. Hours are flexible but expected to average 15-20 hours per week.

Essential Functions
• Serve as primary internal contact for web, email, phone and mail correspondence
• Manage donor development, including database maintenance, donation acknowledgements, and donor cultivation strategies
• Manage all bookkeeping, generate financial reports, and provide financial analysis to Foundation President and Board of Directors
• Draft annual budget for review and approval by Finance Committee and Board of Directors
• Manage regulatory requirements
• Manage grant distribution and collect grant funded programs outcome data
• Schedule/coordinate Board and committee meetings; maintain and distribute meeting notes
• Research and pursue grant opportunities
• Update and maintain website content
• Develop and maintain social media content
• Develop and distribute e-newsletter in the fall and spring
• Support Fundraising Events Manager with communication and marketing for all events
• Process post-event acknowledgements
• Manage annual appeal bulk mailing
• Maintain and update collateral materials

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to independently make appropriate decisions regarding work methods and priorities
• Experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting practices
• Familiarity with principles and practices of modern office management
• Familiarity with social media tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Facebook and Twitter
• Experience with non-profits a plus
• Experience with Photoshop a plus
