We are so happy to share that Gloria Namugaya has joined Decibels as Communications & Administration Manager. Gloria brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are so excited to have her on board! Gloria joined us in July 2020.

Gloria was born and raised in Jinja, Uganda, a small town best known for where the River Nile starts. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Makerere University and a Master’s Degree in International Sustainable Development from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. Gloria has over seven years of experience working and serving the nonprofit sector as a volunteer, organizer, activist, and director at Women Encouraging Empowerment, an organization dedicated to working to empower low-income families, people of color, refugees, and immigrants.

Gloria shares “I am so excited and thrilled to join the Decibels Foundation because I get to work for a mission that I am connected to and dearly care about. I love doing work that impacts kids and families, and I cannot wait to meet and greet everyone when circumstances allow.”
