DECIBELS FOUNDATION WELCOMES SHAUNA WHITE AS THE FUNDRAISING EVENT MANAGER

After almost eight years, Bonnie Fitzpatrick, who has been our Fundraising Event Manager, has accepted a new position with her hometown's Recreation Department. As all of you have witnessed, Bonnie was a great ambassador for the Decibels Foundation, and we will certainly miss her enthusiasm, organizational skills, and her positive attitude. She enjoyed her time at the Foundation getting to meet so many families. She shared with us that she plans on staying involved, so this is not goodbye, just see you later! Thanks for all that you've done for our organization and the families we serve, Bonnie!!

We also have the pleasure of sharing some good news with you, as well.  After a very targeted recruitment process, we were able to convince Shauna White to join our Foundation staff.  Shauna's daughter, Olivia, came through the Minuteman Arc program, and Shauna has emerged as one of our most effective parent advocates.  In fact, the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program chose her as the Massachusetts parent representative to their annual national EDHI conference back in 2017.  She became a certified newborn hearing screener in 2018. Shauna has a bunch of relevant experience and deeply understands what we want to do and why it's important.  I'm looking forward to working with her, and I hope you'll join me in welcoming her to the team.
Shauna shares “I am very excited for this opportunity to work for the very foundation that helped support my child during a time when I didn’t know how. I owe so much gratitude to all the service providers, teachers and staff. I could not think of a foundation that is closer to my heart. To me, I look at this as a way to pay it forward to the current and future families that we support. It is my way to say thank you!”
